I love a good cheeseburger and Tommy’s is one of the best! Stopped by to grab an original chili cheeeae burger with chili cheese fries on my way back to Phoenix after Christmas. I was not disappointed. My burger and fries were as good as I remembered them being. I wish I had asked for extra pickles but I am happy with my order. Everything was hot and fresh. Great quality ingredients which make for classic taste. Highly recommend if you’re feeling famished. I stopped in at 10:30 am in a weekday and it was empty so I’m sure if you come during dinner it might be more crowded. But it was clean and quiet when I stopped in. Protip: always get chili cheese fries.
The parking lot was clean. The dining area was empty and clean. The lady who took my order asked me questions to make sure she understood my order then repeated it to me to make sure that we were clear i had not been to Tommy's for breakfast in such a long time. I was salivating at the thought of having a breakfast sandwich on an English muffin. It was as heavenly as I remembered it. The coffee wow! It has fallen off. It used to be super good. Stopped here for a quick bite and was immediately greeted by an employee by the name of Shayleen she was very positive which instantly brightened up our moods after driving for so long, she was helpful when it came to explaining the menu and giving her recommendations on what to eat. The food was delicious but more than anything I had to review this place for her great attitude and people skills we will definitely be returning back and hopefully on a day where Shayleen is there.
As good as I remembered! Family owner & operated! Had my first chili cheese burger in December 1964 at Rampart & Beverly at 2 AM after working late! Love the taste of their chili! Great tomatoes & delicious pickles! I am in between the Monrovia Store (Huntington Dr & Mountain N/W Corner) or the Montclair Store (Central & 10 FWY S/E corner), so it depends on traffic flow as to which one I go to! Always friendly & helpful! Had the chili cheese fries today 09/23/2023 on special for 2.99
I love this place! The tamale with chili and cheese, onions, pickles, and tomatoes. It was amazing. I can't wait to go back again.
